- Histories of `Oakdene’, a grand house of 16 rooms built in 1888 on Gordon Road, West Finchley; and ‘The Garth’, built around the same time on Holden Road
Sadly, this issue of the Newsletter also records the death of Barbara Warren, who passed away in December at the age of 92. Barbara was stalwart member of the Society for fifty years. She played a wide range of important roles in the Society, but is perhaps best known as the person responsible for the creation of the Spike Milligan Memorial at Stephens House and Gardens.
