Local resident Donald Lyven explained what is possible to see from just sitting in the back garden and looking up. You may not see everything he described in a single sitting, but be surprised what is possible to see if you gaze up at the right time.
Donald Lyven has lived and worked in Finchley since 1964. His interest in nature, meteorology, aviation and astronomy gives him an informative insight into what can be seen above, from butterflies to a distant galaxy and everything in between; it’s all up there!
