‘Education in East Finchley’ was the theme for our East Finchley ‘outreach’ meeting on 24 September. We heard about the oldest schools – Holy Trinity and Martin Primary, up to the present day with the opening of the new Archer Academy.
The speakers were David Smith, Roger Chapman and Lucy Harrison. David has been a Governor of Holy Trinity Church of England School since 1976, and chairs the Finchley Society. Roger is Chair of the Governors of Martin Primary School. He is also a Governor of the Archer Academy and chairs the East Finchley Community Trust. Lucy has recently been appointed as Head of the Archer Academy, having served as its Deputy Head.
