Carol Halls, our Vice President and a stalwart member of the Finchley Society, died on Sunday, 30 November 2014.
Carol was taken to UCL Hospital on Thursday 27 November after becoming ill at home and died there from heart problems the following Sunday. She would have been 80 years old on Friday, 5th December.
She and her late husband, John, were indefatigable members of our Executive Committee for many years, and Carol remained so until her death. An obituary appeared in our January Newsletter.
The funeral was held at Islington Crematorium, East Finchley, on Friday 12 December at 12.30 pm. Carol herself asked that any donations that people may wish to make be sent to the North London Hospice.
