Local History Group
A group was recently formed to promote an interest in and the recording of Finchley's history, members and non-members alike.
Activities include research into Finchley's past, recording memories and taking photographs. See history projects
We welcome anyone wishing to take part in these activities or who has a project of their own they'd like to share. We hold informal meetings around a table at which we discuss history projects in progress These take place at Avenue House. Just contact the Secretary, or email localhistory@finchleysociety.org.uk
Next meeting: We would be happy to welcome anyone interested in discussing the history of Finchley to the next meeting,which takes place in the Balcony room at Avenue House on Thursday 20 May 2010 at 8 p.m.
